Three years later, his team was voted #1 for trading ideas using options (Greenwich) and they were also awarded “Derivative Research House of the Year” (Derivatives Intelligence). Gerry was on the Board and for two years was Chairman of the CFA Society of the UK (12,000 members) between 2012-2018. His passion in this role was for inspiring and enabling others to volunteer and contribute to this professional body. Under his leadership the Board also prioritised the delivery of a new Certificate in ESG investing in accordance with the UNPRI. This market-leading certification is now being offered internationally. Gerry is a CFA Charter holder and a Fellow of the CFA Society of the UK. He also has a Post Graduate Diploma (applied finance and investments) and a Bachelor of Commerce degree (finance and economics).
